City of Firsts Community Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, member-operated, non-profit cooperative financial institution. We provide more opportunities than other financial institutions because it is owned and governed by our members, who utilize its products and services. Every member owns a share of the credit union, which operates to promote the financial well-being of all its members.

Our History
City of Firsts Community Federal Credit Union, formerly Kokomo School Employees Federal Credit Union, was established in 1938 by Mr. Charles Franklin. As Kokomo School Employees FCU, we serviced the employees of Kokomo Consolidated School Corp. and its family members. In 2006, the City of Firsts Community FCU received permission from the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) to offer membership to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, or volunteers in Howard and Tipton Counties. "Community" was added to the name to better reflect our designation as a Community Credit Union. Assets now exceed $36 million, Shares exceed $22 million, and Loans to members exceed $10 million. Our total membership now totals over 3,000 members.
